Stock and Systems Manager

Simon Acres Recruitment are looking for a Stock and Systems Manager to work for a highly reputable company based in Plymouth. In this position you will enjoy a varied workload and will be responsible for the development and effective delivery of all stock monitoring processes within the business.


Your duties will include: 

  • Oversee and make recommendations to tracking systems to ensure accuracy of stock holding
  • Ensuring effective stock auditing across all departments and the business
  • Reviewing planning and active management of the PI program
  • Reconciling stock movements against stock holding
  • Evaluating root cause factors for stock reporting discrepancies and recommend practical solutions to strengthen processes and controls
  • Reporting on and evaluate reasons for adjustments to stockholdings
  • Implementing KPIs to monitor and improve stock management processes
  • Providing statistical stock holding reports as required by the business 
  • Working with stakeholders to enhance reporting on stock holding


You should have: 

  • A background and/or detailed understanding of stock management is essential
  • High level of analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to convert analysis into tangible business benefits
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to analyse performance and make effective decisions to ensure KPI's are delivered
  • Can work to deadlines and to manage competing demands from various stakeholders
  • A true team player underpinned with great interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in relation to the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and an early adopter of new technology
