Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking a Showroom Business Development Manager to help various Kitchen Showrooms along the M6 Corridor. The ideal candidate will have previous experience not necessarily managing people but developing and enabling a region of showrooms.
This is a permanent position for a growing company paying up to £40,000 + Car + Bonus.
Your main duties will include:
- Supporting the showroom branch network and expansion into this region
- Working in a field based role with occasional meetings at the Head Office
- Engaging and supporting Branch Management
- Enabling kitchen, and bathroom specialists to achieve sales and margin targets and grow their customer portfolio
- Identifying growth opportunities within the Kitchen (and bathroom) categories and across the branch network
- Developing people, range, displays, promotions , knowledge of local competitors activity
- Liaising with the relevant central support functions and branches to ensure opportunities are realised
This is an excellent for an opportunity for an Area Manager, Showroom Manager or Sales Manager to really push showroom sales across a fantastic company.
- People Skills are essential
- Coaching experience. Influencing , merchant experience or similar
- Experience of branch operations in a multi-site location, or area management in the past
- Sales experience in Kitchens and an understanding of the kitchen industry
- Product management and training experience beneficial but not essential
