Fantastic Opportunity for an Experienced Plumbing and Heating Manager to work with a great company!

The Role

Due to internal promotion, an exciting vacancy has arisen at our clients Cheadle branch for a Plumbing & Heating Manager. The purpose of the role will be to lead an effective Plumbing & Heating department and the main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of P&H product
  • Inter-team working with Branch Manager and colleagues to provide excellence customer service at all times
  • Create profitable sales growth
  • Invoicing and processing all sales accurately
  • Manage specific customer pricing terms and be aware of customer credit limits
  • Maintain working relationship with customers and suppliers
  • Efficiently manage all aspects of P&H core stock and stock counts
  • Manage slow moving stock lines and obsolete stock
  • Merchandising the P&H shop floor area, in compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures at all times
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable within the scope of the job role

Essential Skills

  • Excellent plumbing & heating product knowledge
  • Great communication skills
  • Successful sales history and strong margin awareness
