Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a family run business specialising in interior design and architecture, kitchens, sliding wardrobes and storage solutions company based in the Isle of Man, who are looking for an experienced Operations & Installations Manager.

Offering a salary of £38,000 + profit share + company vehicle + company phone

 

The Role:

  • Liaise with designers: Ensure all technical aspects are correct on designs
  • Carry out check surveys prior to order processing
  • Produce schedule of works for booking of trades and timescale for client
  • Undertake a site visit prior to commencement of works to ensure project is ready for installation to proceed
  • Ensure contractors and installers have full specification, drawings, and requirements to ensure a smooth roll out on site ensuring no delays to productivity
  • Meet contractors on site to discuss projects prior to commencement
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with all health and safety at work regulations
  • Manage clients’ expectations during the creation stage
  • Manage contractors and installers on site to meet with schedule of work
  • Ensure all work is undertaken to a high quality
  • Liaise with contractors and installers for all technical queries
  • Undertake site visits/inspections and meet with client
  • Keep clients up to date with progress
  • Undertake surveys for stone/solid surface work surfaces: check templates, order work surfaces and check order
  • Manage the shipping, delivery to site and installation of stone/solid work surfaces
  • Undertake project completion inspections and reports
  • Arrange all snagging/completion work with contractors/installers
  • Undertake final sign off with client

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the domestic construction industry
  • Experienced in MS Office, Kitchen Design Software, AutoCAD or similar
  • Excellent presentation, planning and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to quickly build rapport with our valued customers
  • Hold a full clean driving license
