Simon Acres Recruitment are proud to represent for a leading KBB manufacturer who are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their Installations team to support the increasing number of special project developments in the South. The ideal candidate must live within the London M25/Luton/Reading area.
The purpose of the role is to manage the installation process through to completion on fast moving, third-party, high-rise developments across the area.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Ensure high levels of Health & Safety on site
- Ensure sufficient levels of subcontract labour available to meet customer demands
- Ensure the highest levels of fit quality are maintained
- Scheduling of fitters work and through the fit management system
- Ensure fitting teams maintain all necessary qualifications and certifications, i.e. CSCS cards, SSSTS / SMSTS, Face fit certificates and the like
In order to succeed in this role, you must be:
- Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
- Self-motivated and looking to progress in your career
- Able to manage multiple projects positively
- Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines
- Computer literate
- Personally presentable at all times
You will also have:
- Ideally a construction related qualification
- Knowledge of kitchen installations
- Excellent IT ability
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of health and safety – would suit IOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS
- CSCS or HBF Card
- A full driving licence
