Simon Acres Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fast-growing worksurface company that require a Business Development Manager in the West Midlands who can maintain relationships with building developers and kitchen retailers, as well as bring on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed budgeted sales and profit targets
  • Selling the full range of worksurfaces and tiling materials
  • Selling directly into Housebuilders, Contractors, Developers, Contract Kitchen Companies, and
    Kitchen Retailers
  • Dealing with National Housebuilders
  • Will get involved with the training of the salespeople within the Marketing Suites or Show homes to
    allow them to upsell Quartz/Granite worksurfaces or large format tiling
  • Merchandising of the Marketing Suites and Show homes
  • Split of Contract market 85% and Retailers 15%
  • Growing existing Kitchen Retailers to offer a fabrication and Installation service

Essential for this role:

  • Must have a background in ideally Work surfaces or Kitchens or related products
  • Must have contacts with Builders, developers or contract kitchen companies
  • Must to have a broad understanding of kitchen furniture and able to read kitchen furniture plans
  • Able to get involved with training and merchandising of the product
  • Midlands based, covering from Somerset – Lancashire

 

Salary: £30-35k + £5k bonus
