Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a highly reputable Furniture Retailer in the South Wales area and are seeking a Branch Director to take full control of a growing and successful business. This is a permanent role and is paying up to £50,000 per annum for the right candidate with bonuses.
Your main duties will include:
- Responsible for delivering the new sales numbers in line with the company targets and individual KPIs
- Working closely with Designers to ensure the design and specification matches the customer’s needs
- Advising the designers on alternative design / specification requirements
- Supporting the sales team to enable the individuals and the team to achieve their targets
- Engaging with customers in the showroom initially to develop new sales opportunities as well as during the design process to secure the orders for the business
- Developing relationships with local builders and architects to support future sales opportunities
- Completing a check on every customer order before it is passed to the Installation Team for processing
- Responsible for ordering and delivering the kitchens and bedrooms to meet the business’s financial targets and at the standards to drive customer recommendations
- Assisting the Installation teams with workload and planning and especially dealing with technical queries
- Supporting the Installations Team by processing service / remedial orders or completing site visits as required
- Engaging with Installation Teams to ensure we have the highest standards
- Recruiting new fitting teams to ensure we have the installation capacity to meet the customer and business needs
- Managing the workload for both the Sales and Installations Teams to ensure we deliver the company objectives and exceed customers’ expectations
- Monitoring the performance of Designers and Installation Managers based on Company KPIs
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of customers and staff in the showroom
- Providing accurate and timely Sales and Installations Management Information on to Senior Management as and when required
- Personally deal with any customer issues to ensure the customer satisfaction is maintained and the Company reputation is protected
This is the ideal role for a Branch Director / Branch Manager / Showroom Manager or Business Owner from the KBB or Merchant industry looking to cement themselves in a well established company and make a profitable difference.
You should have:
- A proven track record of leading large teams in the KBB/ Trade industry
- A successful background in implementation and improving business/ branch standards
- Sales proficiency across all aspects of the KBB/ Trade industry
