Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-established timber merchant based in Surrey, who are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager.

This is a permanent position paying between £37,000 - £42,000, plus annual bonus.

The Role:

  • Working alongside the Branch Manager
  • Helping to drive forward the sales and profitability of the business
  • Supporting, motivating and leading a team to deliver excellent branch standards
  • Developing both new & existing business relationships
  • Maximising sales
  • Looking for new and exciting ways to drive sales
  • Accountable for maximising lead conversion by being proactive with customer contacts, enquiries and quotes
  • Creating a culture that delivers customer satisfaction
  • Ability to solve problems and offer solutions

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm and every other Saturday 8am to 1pm

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have prior supervisory experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the merchant or timber trade
  • Must have merchant/timber product knowledge
  • Proven track record of striving to achieve own and company goals/targets
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • UK driving licence
