Simon Acres Recruitment are seeking a self-motivated and driven A&D Key Account Manager to cover the South of the UK. Driving and developing demand for the product and your key account portfolio. Building design solutions and adding value to commercial projects through Designers and Architects.

This is a permanent, remotely based role, offering up to £40,000 P/A + Bonus profit share scheme. 


Your main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and maintain leads and lead conversion in a timely and effective manner
  • Utilise and sustain the CRM system/database
  • Maintain and develop existing relationships with clients, fabricators and specifiers (e.g. architects, interior designers etc)
  • Achieve Product Specifications
  • Identify potential opportunities to achieve sales targets
  • Promote the brand and product to ensure it is specified for the client’s projects
  • Establish strong relationships with internal manufacturing sales managers as well as other members of the team working in the same region
  • Read technical specifications based on architect and designer drawings
  • Answer technical questions in relation to the properties of the solid surface product range
  • Some travel to customers and clients
  • Organise and conduct digital sessions for specifiers to build their knowledge and awareness of the attributes and properties of the product


The ideal existing experience and skills required:

  • Confident presentation skills 
  • Aptitude for MS Office software and online video conference platforms
  • Understanding of basic CRM functions/systems
  • Strong communication, marketing, people skills and history of closing sales
  • Aptitude for networking (LinkedIn, Events etc)
  • Time management and effective working from home ethic
  • Understanding of the tendering process and technical specifications
  • Understanding of design needs and how it pertains to manufacturing and corporate clients


A comfortable home office space is required.
